So, I was filming Hokkaido's Yuki Matsuri (Snow Festival) in 2014, and LOVING my time there and all the food (and shout out to Makiko-san for your excellent coordination skills and my co-host Yui-chan)! During our snow mobile filming segment, my

instructor was a very cool, tri-lingual fellow named Johannes. He says "oh, my wife works with Hokkaido Television Broadcast..." So that random encounter led to Love Hokkaido coming to Hawaii and me being one of their tour guides. Sorta. ;)

 

The Doko Ga TV: JapanMania team started working with Hokkaido Television Broadcast in August 2014. Since October

2014, we started airing a special Hawaii version of Love Hokkaido on K5 The Home Team. Thank you to everyone that tuned in and continues to watch! Every Sunday at 7:30pm on K5 The Home Team!

Love Hokkaido airs in Taiwan, Shanghai, Singapore, Vietnam, Peru and of course, Japan!  and now Hawaii!

Pali's been a fan of all things Japan since he was 5 years old. This affinity for Japan + coupled with having lived/performed there for 2 years + performing there annually all contributed to the creation of Doko Ga TV: JapanMania. Pali is leading TV tours to Japan and is so stoked to be working with Hokkaido Television Broadcast and Team Love Hokkaido!
